The Manufacturing NextMaterials (MNM) project promotes and supports the scaling up of prototypes to the production phase of parts and components made from smart and sustainable materials - for example, lightweight automotive parts and battery materials, but also 3D-printed materials and other innovative materials. Our goal is to equip innovative SMEs with the skills they need to bridge the gap between prototype and market. This is achieved through open calls, where you as a company can submit an application for your scaling project. Each call has a defined opening and closing period, after which the submitted projects will be sent to an advisory committee, and then, with the advice of this committee, to the steering group of Interreg for the final decision. The period from the deadline to possible approval takes about 12 weeks.Call VI - deadline 16 januari 2026 - extended until 13 February 2026 - total project duration possible: 15 months Call VII - deadline 9 April 2026 - total project duration possible: 14 months Call VIII - deadline 10 Oktober 2026 - total project duration possible: 8 months Call IX - deadline 11 November 2026 - total project duration possible: 5,5 monthsSubmission and GuidanceDo you have a prototype with innovative materials that you want to scale up towards commercial production, together with a German partner? Or do you need assistance in writing your proposal before you submit the final application?
